Having held C-level roles across international markets and delivered executive training in strategy, marketing, and AI, he combines strategic leadership with academic depth and hands-on hospitality insight. As both an advisor to businesses and an active hotel operator, Dr. Michail understands the realities of running a hospitality enterprise and built KnowOpp to translate artificial intelligence into structured, practical, and measurable business advantage.

Why I Built KnowOpp

For more than fifteen years, my work has focused on strategy, growth, and competitive advantage. I have operated at C-level positions across international markets, led marketing and commercial divisions, and advised companies on go-to-market strategy, digital transformation, and performance optimisation. My background combines academic depth with executive execution – a rare but necessary combination in today’s business environment.

Alongside my corporate experience, I have trained senior executives and business leaders through institutions such as PwC Academy’s Mini MBA programme, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and leading academic institutions. I have delivered thousands of hours of training in strategy, marketing, innovation, and AI in business. Over time, one pattern became clear: professionals do not struggle with ambition – they struggle with structured implementation.

My connection to hospitality is not theoretical. I have worked extensively with tourism and hotel businesses, authored books specifically for hoteliers, and co-own a hotel operation myself. I understand the operational pressure, the margin sensitivity, the seasonality, and the industry’s relentless pace.

When artificial intelligence entered mainstream business conversations, I observed something familiar. There was noise everywhere – articles, webinars, influencers, predictions. But there was very little structured, business-first guidance tailored to hospitality operators.
